How to Cook Rice On The Stove

This educational video shows you a way to cook brown rice, a whole grain with anti-oxidants. She makes one cup of rice, rinsing it once or twice and adding two and a half cups of water. She cooks it on high heat with a lid for four to five minutes and then simmers it for twenty to thirty minutes. Once the water is nearly absorbed, the rice is fully cooked, making two cups of cooked brown rice.
