    FYI I think the Australian Accent is awesome I had a skydive instructer that was Australian and that’s when i first started to want to learn it but have been stuck with the beer commercals and good day mate I would love to get a website or cd to listen too any suggestions?

    i think the aussie accent is amazing. im trying to learn it because i do think it sounds wonderful, and this video does help. i think its better then the other videos i watched because you explain the vowel parts well. do you think that you could post a video with the aussie slang? that would help as well. thankies!     Hey or Guday. I need just a few more pointers. Like maybe more of a variety of vocab. If thats ok. Auditioning for a role. And also what movies would you recommend. My boyfriend is australian and he says anything is good just stay away from cocodile dundee lol. Thanks so much.

    Thanks for the short video. I have been working on an Aussie accent for quite a while and I have it down pretty well, although I still struggle with incorporating some of the words native and unique to Australians. For instance, I never say “sheila” or “bloke”, and I just don’t know too many more. I would love to put a video online so you could see it and critique it, but i have no idea where to post it. By the way, Brent is my Aussie name! Haha

    I have just watched this video and found this really useful. Me and my mate have been struggling to do the Aussi accent and that now i have watched this i find it alooot easier. And yeh i jus notcied that u pronounced the ‘r’ in closer. well quite. N waysz i really enjo the aussi accent and find it y amazing. 😀

    I am a pre-school teacher and I work with a great group of 4 and 5 year old children. I have a full body size puppet named sammy, but I want to change his name to an Austrailian type name. I would also like to build a personality for my puppet around the aulstrailian accent. I would like to get phrases I can draw from of general conversation. and common words like words ending in “E” or ending in ” y, or anything you might come up with.” words with ea ai ie ect… Besides “R” and “G” dropping them out of words used is there any other words that I would drop letters out of?
