Understanding and Preventing Swine-Flu

Posted on 03. Dec, 2009 by Dee in Health

The H1N1 virus is claiming more lives everyday. Wearing a mask doesn’t mean you can’t get the virus.

Swine-flu is easily treated, though, and here are some tips to keep you safe:
1. Wash your hands often. You can’t take soap with you everywhere, so carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you.
2. Make sure you sneeze and cough into a tissue.
3. If you have a fever, the chills, are nauseous, a cough, and a runny nose; get it checked. It could just be the common cold, but it’s always better to be safe that sorry.

Is it really? There’s also the avian flu. That claimed a few lives too. In fact, I think it still is in small pockets.
